we have been so busy.

all this work and all this fall-adventuring has made time fly faster than something that flies very quickly. instead of preparing for the work week, i plan to bike ride and look at pictures from the magic-cam. hyphen-day.

Happy Fall!

Things have been busy at Green Gables so far this fall! We fell in love at the apple orchard...
Turned into pumpkins...
Ate yum yum apples...

And decorated for our favorite holiday, Halloween. More to come!

I KNOW IT'S BEEN AWHILE

We've just been so busy in the hammock

And frolicking by the river

And modeling

We'll try to post a lot today. Look how beautiful our house is in the fall!

Avatars

I have two hobbies. One is thinking of Halloween costumes, and another is making animated characters of my friends. On the AMC website it is now possible to "Mad Men" yourself. A sampling:

This is me: a working woman in a man's word. Drinking coffee.

This is Klang, drinking at the bar. I think she owns this dress in real life.
This is Merms, who is also a fancy lady. So demure.
I'm really proud of this one. It's evil Seth with a tiny mustache.
This last one is angry Andy. The hair is not quite right, but we'll go with it.

This is what I do instead of grading.

Sunday Night Missed Connection

I know we missed last week. Deal with it. We have two this week:

Ped mall band: We know you are probably in high school. Or maybe you just graduated and didn't want to hang out in Mayflower or Currier all night. School starts tomorrow, we understand how you're probably restless. Or you could just be homeless. In any case, we really enjoyed your Bon Iver and Devendra Banhart covers. You charmed us into donating money, which never happens. If you ever need a place to store your organ-accordion instrument thing, our basement is free. Or come over for Dimas Lemus practice tomorrow night. XOXO Green Gables
