It's been a long time, friends.

What do you do when a blizzard is coming?  First you stock up on wine, drink it, play in the snow really hard at a very late hour, and then spend the next day paying for the wine pretty hard while laying on a couch with friends.  Success!

For the past two months, I've been directing a high school play. Just thought I'd share a picture.

Fall is beautiful in Iowa.

klang and i just got done with a radio show and an inpromptu talk radio talk show appearance.  crazy.  we're now waiting for our hard-working roommate to return from the bowels of williamsburg.  it's good to be home.

we have been so busy.

all this work and all this fall-adventuring has made time fly faster than something that flies very quickly. instead of preparing for the work week, i plan to bike ride and look at pictures from the magic-cam. hyphen-day.

Sunday Night Missed Connection

Ped mall band: We know you are probably in high school. Or maybe you just graduated and didn't want to hang out in Mayflower or Currier all night. School starts tomorrow, we understand how you're probably restless. Or you could just be homeless. In any case, we really enjoyed your Bon Iver and Devendra Banhart covers. You charmed us into donating money, which never happens. If you ever need a place to store your organ-accordion instrument thing, our basement is free.
